Bow Cases
Bow cases come in two general designs, namely hard and soft. The soft cases are far more convenient for general use around the house, in the car and camping. Most of these cases have an outer shell of heavy canvas or nylon Cordura and foam padding inside. One end is squared to accommodate a bow and a quiver full of arrows. The better makes have several pockets on the outside for spare equipment and arrows.

Hard cases are large and bulky and as such are not suited for everyday use, however for air travel they are essential. If your bow is not protected with a tough plastic or aluminum case with a reliable lock, your bow may not make it to your destination in one piece. This type of case should have strong hinges, or preferably, a full-length piano hinge with several strong latches. The case should be able to hold your bow, quiver full of arrows, a few dozen spare arrows and spare strings, heads, shooting tab, and other accessories.
